"When you're on over your head, I'll be there with you. When you're in rough waters, you will not go down. When you're between a rock and a hard places, it won't be a dead end-"
Even though it's pretty simple, I absolutely love the way they filmed the beginning of this movie.
The tone of the colors, the close ups and above shot, song choice, the mood that it first gives.. just everything about it:)
It makes me wonder how many introduction ideas did they go through, just to get to exactly that. Of course it was probably based off of a book, and I just don't know it, but still I've always admired the way movies or even novels open up.
The first impression clicks. That shot that grabs you in. The little things that keep you interested.
So Kathryn & I finally got the old bikes out, and I love it. Bike rides in the fall, are going to be the best. And I'm excited for more and more of these kind of days to come:)
